The median monthly salaries of experts and middle management were EUR 4,130 and 5,100, respectively.
The Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff data for 2019, a summary of annual member surveys of YTN affiliates, has been published. The report shows, for example, the salary levels of senior salaried employees in different industries and positions. The material was collected in late 2019. The median monthly salaries of experts and middle management were EUR 4,130 and 5,100, respectively. Approximately half of the respondents said that incentive bonuses were applied in their employment relationships, and 76% of them had received such a bonus. Incentive bonuses totalled 6.4% of annual income (median). The experienced stability of employment relationships, both on the level of the workplace and on a personal level, was a little lower than the previous year. There were certain differences between industries, but the feeling of a threat of termination was particularly high in the financing and insurance sectors. The majority of respondents indicated that they were satisfied with their work and the related aspects. Salary level and its incentive effect received the lowest grades. According to the results, salary structures should be fairer, more motivating and more transparent.
